To read using the Cantook by Aldiko app on your iOS device:
- Download the Cantook by Aldiko app to your device.
- Once the Cantook by Aldiko app is downloaded, use the Internet browser on your iOS device to visit your NetGalley account. Find the book on your NetGalley Shelf and then press the Download button.
- Open the Cantook by Aldiko app and click on “Import your books” where you can then locate the file you downloaded in the previous step. (Tip: files are often in the “On My iPhone” folder (on iPhone) or “On my iPad” folder (on iPad) -> “Chrome” folder on your device).
Click on the file to open it and the book will import into your Cantook by Aldiko app, and display a “Publication added to your library message” once complete. - You will now see the book on your Cantook by Aldiko Home screen in the Recently added section. When you click to open the book, if it is your first time opening a file in an LCP-supported device or app, you will be asked for your passphrase. Your passphrase can be found below the download button on the NetGalley book page.

Once you enter your passphrase correctly, the full file will download and open.
If you have previously opened an LCP-protected book in Cantook by Aldiko, you will not be asked for your passphrase again.
