For publishers who use Eloquence or Firebrand’s Content Services, we will ingest cover images directly from Eloquence, as long as the cover image is available in Eloquence or Content Services.
We will collect available Eloquence images on Tuesdays and Fridays. If you need to add a cover image immediately, you can upload it directly.
For Content Services customers, there is a new asset type (in Title Management) named “NetGalley Cover Art High 500+ (CS)” that will be required for the redesigned NetGalley. At a minimum, the longest side of the image should not be less than 500 pixels, but we can take any size larger than that (jpgs only).
Many publishers include links to the cover images within their ONIX files (using the <mediafile> element). If a NetGalley title record is created from an ONIX record that includes a cover image (PNG or JPG format) in this way, the cover image will appear in the title record within approximately one hour. Please note that the cover image is only imported when the NetGalley title record is created. If you want to update the cover image, you’ll need to upload the new version via the FTP.
