Swiping now available for PDFs

Reading PDFs just got easier! While you can still choose to set your PDF to scroll up and down, if you prefer, this update now makes swiping right-to-left the default for all PDF files. Don't forget, every book on NetGalley will display the available File Types (EPUB, PDF) and Reading Options (NetGalley Shelf App, Send to Kindle, Download) that the publisher has currently enabled for the book.

Add annotations and search within EPUBs

You can now search within the text of any EPUB you have downloaded within the app, as well as add annotations while you read (which is a great way to prepare for writing your review)! You'll find additional tips for writing reviews and lots of helpful info about how to leave feedback on NetGalley in our Member Knowledge Base, as well as on our editorial blog, We Are Bookish

New text-to-speech beta feature for Android users

You've been asking for text-to-speech and we heard you! The Android update contains the first version of our new Read aloud feature. Please let us know what you think of this beta feature, which we'll continue to improve over time, and eventually release for iOS.

If you have any questions, please visit our Knowledge Base or report any issues to our friendly support team.

Thank you for your continued support!

All best,
The NetGalley Team
