Independent booksellers* can nominate books for The Booksellers’ List via NetGalley!

To access this feature, you need to be registered as a Bookseller (with Canada as your Country) and be approved or invited to view a book on NetGalley.

To nominate a book, click the “Give Feedback” button from the book page or on your Shelf. Then on the Opinions page, click “Yes” (as seen below) to nominate the book for The Booksellers’ List.

You can vote for The Booksellers’ List at any time. If you read a book you'd like to nominate, go ahead and submit your vote. We’ll share all submissions with CIBA, and they’ll include them in the totals for upcoming lists based on the book’s publication date.

When submitting a nomination, please note that you are consenting to your email address in your NetGalley account being shared with CIBA**.

*All Booksellers in Canada can submit nominations, but only those submitted by CIBA members will be considered for The Booksellers’ List.

**If your email address is marked as Private within your NetGalley profile, a member of the NetGalley team will reach out to you directly to ask your permission to share your email address with CIBA.

Don't forget, booksellers & staff who work at a CIBA member store can add the store CIBA number to their NetGalley accounts. Once they do, the CIBA logo will appear next to their name for publishers to see when requesting books! Read more here and grab this shareable flyer.
